FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How we work with agencies and online stores, what it costs, and what happens after launch.

For agencies

What is white-label Magento development?

A development partner builds and supports Magento stores for your clients under your agency's brand. Your client works with you; we do the technical work.

Will my client know about you?

We work under your brand: your email, your project tools. How you present us is up to you.

Can we meet the client together?

Of course. We work as one team, under your brand.

What if the project isn't on Magento or Shopify?

We also work with WooCommerce and custom PHP. Tell us about the task, and if it's not for us, we'll say so.

Our client has a huge catalogue, expects heavy traffic and wants a mobile app too. Can you handle that?

Yes. For a project like that, we'd suggest a headless storefront on Magento. Catalogue, filters and search run on their own server, so traffic peaks don't slow down checkout, and the same API can feed the website, a mobile app and any other channel. Magento stays the back office: products, prices, orders and customers.

What do we get before the project starts?

A roadmap, a Gantt timeline and a fixed estimate: what gets built, and when. You know your margin before any work begins.

How long does a typical project take?

Usually 1.5–2 months. Smaller tasks take from a day to a few weeks.

What happens if something doesn't work after launch?

We fix it. That's part of the job, not a new task.

How fast do you respond?

Within one business day.

What if something urgent comes up?

That's what the priority team is for: people reserved for you, no queue.

Can we trust you with our client's data?

We work under NDA with agencies and keep client details confidential. That's also why we don't show logos on our site.

How is working with you different from an in-house team?

An in-house team needs a steady flow of tasks, room to grow, and cover for holidays and sick days. With us, you come when you need us, by task or by project. Keeping the team motivated and covering time off is our job, so your projects start when you need them to.

Can we see your work?

Most of it is under NDA. We'll walk you through relevant projects.

For online stores

How do we switch to you from another team?

We need access to the code and the server. Documentation helps, but we don't need it to start. Getting up to speed takes from a few hours to two weeks, depending on the store.

How do you price the work?

Every task gets a fixed estimate before we start, and you pay when it works. Projects start from $6,000 and are paid in three steps: 20%, 30% and 50%. Support starts from $800/month. See Pricing for details.

Do we need a monthly contract?

No. You only pay for what you need. If you'd like extra guarantees, we can put a contract in place.

Do you monitor the store?

Yes. We monitor your store, and if something breaks, we see it and fix it. We also tell you what's worth improving before it becomes a problem.

What if we need something urgently?

Our priority team is reserved for you, so there's no waiting when something urgent comes up. A dedicated person on request.

Which platforms do you work with?

Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce, WordPress and custom PHP.

Pricing

How are projects paid?

In three steps: 20% to start, 30% at the midpoint, 50% when it works.

Can the price change during the project?

The estimate is fixed for the agreed scope. If the scope changes, we agree the new estimate before any extra work starts.

What does the support retainer include?

Monitoring, fixes and improvements every month. Or pay as you go, if your workload is uneven.

What is the priority team?

$6,000/month. The team is reserved for you, so there's no waiting when something urgent comes up. A dedicated person on request.

Development

How is a project priced?

Every project is estimated individually. The smallest projects start from $6,000. You get a plan, a timeline and a fixed estimate before any work starts.

Support and maintenance

What's included in support?

Monitoring, bug fixes, small features, platform updates and improvements. Every task gets a fixed estimate before we start.

What does pay as you go mean?

You pay only for the tasks you need, with a fixed estimate for each one. We invoice once a month.

Can you take over a store another team built?

Yes. We need access to the code and the server. Documentation helps, but we don't need it to start. Getting up to speed takes from a few hours to two weeks, depending on the store.

Migrations

Do we have to migrate to a new platform?

It depends on your goals and on whether your current stack is still worth maintaining. Most migrations are driven by maintenance costs or security risks. We weigh both and suggest the option that's safe and makes financial sense for you. For many clients, that means staying on their current platform, and we explain exactly why. If that doesn't suit you, we'll propose another option.

Will we lose our search rankings?

Not if the migration is planned around SEO. We export your indexed URLs from Google Search Console, keep or redirect every one, and move robots.txt, sitemaps and analytics.

How is a migration priced?

Every migration is estimated individually. The smallest projects start from $6,000. You get a plan, a timeline and a fixed estimate before any work starts.

Can we migrate only part of the data?

Yes. You can move just orders, customers or products, and leave the rest where it is.

Integrations

Which systems have you integrated?

SAP Business One, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle NetSuite, Salesforce, HubSpot, KeyCRM, Amazon Marketplace, Google Feeds, Akeneo, Pimcore, Excel and Google Sheets, and custom APIs.

What if our system isn't on the list?

If it has an API, we can usually connect it. Tell us what it is, and we'll tell you honestly whether it's a fit.

How is an integration priced?

Every integration is estimated individually. You get a plan and a fixed estimate before any work starts.

Who supports the integration after launch?

We do. Integrations need care like the rest of the store, and our support retainer covers them.

Are we a good fit? Let's discuss.

Tell us about your project. If we're a fit, you get a clear next step. If not, we'll tell you.
